The best baby shower cake design always comes with a wonderful theme. But it doesn't mean you need so-called special techniques.

I found this super special baby shower cake idea from Craft Tradition magazine. This sweet crafting treat using oridnary round pan, but ooh my, its fancy cake decoration surely deliver a very clear message to every guest, "A new baby is on the way..."

Believe me, it's full of fun when you're making handels, wheels and a buggy shape using some fancy tips. And the cake frosting is one the most creative types I've ever seen.

This unique carriage confection is also an excellent baby shower centerpiece to celebrate either a boby boy or a baby girl, and it serves more than 12 guests.

Have you watched the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Imagine a huge cardyworks in the Wonka's factory, which is itself such a irresistable confection. I know most of you grew up with the Gene Wilder version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and you adored it, as well as the book by Roald Dahl.

But I really love Johnny Deep's performance, a little bit of wacky but very subtle. And you can take your kids to see it without worry. So, for your Willy Wonka fans, why not have the next baby shower ideas come from the Chocolate theme?

One of my RSS Feed subscriber send me a email said that she can't sleep on night after the terrorist attack happened in London. Neither do I.

We use 4-years-long-time to soothe our pain from the tragedy of September 11th...but I know Londoners can do better than us - as I can feel the a magical power from the
statement of the Mayor of London. I bring the most appealing part of it here for sharing.

" ...Londoners will not be divided by this cowardly attack...because they come to be free, they come to live the life they choose, they come to be able to be themselves. They flee you because you tell them how they should live. They don't want that and nothing you do, however many of us you kill, will stop that flight to our city where freedom is strong and where people can live in harmony with one another. Whatever you do, however many you kill, you will fail."

New York is a great city, but this time, London performs better, and it deserves to be the host of 2012 Olympic Games.

Oh, yes, we all have experiences of a sports theme party, how about using sports as your baby shower ideas? I'm sure this unique new life celebration, for the arrival little one, proves the failure of the terrorists.

Do you know diapers made up 3.4 million tons of waste, or 2.1 percent of U.S. garbage, in landfills in 1998 -- the last year this information was collected, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

Well, I'm sure you already have had hours of ooh-and-aah if your baby shower is a diaper party. But you shouldn't be surprise if you already had children - the average baby goes through 5,000 diapers before being potty-trained!

Anything can we do about the enviroment while we have to diaper our baby?

It's still in doubt that should new parents only use biodegrable disposable "nappy". Some brave new moms already started to diaper their baby both in cloth and biodegradable disposable diapers.

I'm not saying you must use the enviroment-protect diapers. The answer is not such clear yet.

But you can really do something good for both (the arrival little one and our Earth-Mom) by giving your guests some unique earth-friendly baby shower favors.

And it's cheap and full of fun!

Does writing poems have to be that hard to our normal people? I don't think so.

You can always find the best way for yourself to write great words. And don't forget you're writing baby shower thank you poems, not a Shakespeare masterpiece!
