A Double Peach Baby Shower

Recently my bestfriend and I were given the task of planning a baby shower for two of out closest friends, who both attend our church!
They both are having baby girls and this is the second chilf for each of them and to top it off they are due 3 weeks apart! So planning a shower that was befitting of both moms was kinda hallenging.
They both wanted a shower with their immediate family and friends and also the church family. So what we came up with was amazing..both mom's left the shower very happy and satisfied!
Since both mom's were transplants from up North (New York and Ohio) we decided on the GA PEACH as our theme...we ordered two cakes one to look like the GA tag and the other shaped like a peach so each mommy had their own cake for scrapbook purposes only! Then since we were hosting this shower at our church we ordered peach colored table covers online from factorydirectparty.com they were very nice and inexpensive. For shower favors I made sugar cookies that I cut into the shape of a peach and decorated them to look like peaches! We also ordered peach ballons too! Since each mom had a child we also gave the big brother and big sister t-shirts that read I'm the big brother/ sister! We played the traditional baby shower games and our menu was traditional outside of the peach cobbler, peaches and cream jelly beans and peach shaped lollipops! Since we didn't want either mom to feel like the other one recieved more from the church than anyone else...we asked the church to bring bottles, diapers, onesies, recieving blankets, bibs, and wipes for each mom to be...they both recieved a lot of stuff!
The top game prize was to the fathers to be..we played a game where we blindfolded the dads and gave them babydolls (borrowed from little girls at the church) a diaper, a wipe, a bottle of baby powder, a pair of socks, and a onesie that they had to put on the baby blindfolded...it was so much fun!
The winning dad won a diaper bag filled with goodies for their new daughter!
At the end of the shower we had each mom and dad with their older children come to the alter and we had our pastors to pray for them and their new baby girls!
It was a very exciting day and each mom really enjoyed herself with all of their family and friends!
The only downside is that it was expensive planning a baby shower of this magnitude to serve 75 guests!
