Hi, my name is dianna and I m the mom-to-be sister and I m the one planning the baby shower its the first boy in the house and the first grandson so this is a big deal well after days and weeks of fighting of what theme to do we all agreed that the theme will be the new york yankees (baseball) but i just cant find anything and i dont know what to do, how to decorate the hall what party gifts to give nothing. Baseball is the All-American sport, and a great boy’s theme for a baby shower. The Yankees’ colors are blue and white so start there. Decorate with pennants, bats (blow-up) and baseballs. Food can be standard stadium fair: hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, ice cream, sodas, and nachos. Baseball hats would be great gifts but probably too expensive for favors. Searching the Yankees’ website will probably give you options for buying paraphernalia both for baby and guests that is not very expensive – or ideas for making your own. A cake shaped like a baseball diamond is an option. If you can find a recording of Take Me Out to the Ballgame that would be fun. Your baby shower is sure to be a homerun!
