Back To The Basics

Sadly,I didn't have a baby shower with my three boys. However, I did receive a gift from my neighbor that was just wonderful. Yes, it was the basics.

She gave me wipes, baby wash, diaper creams. A bag full of items that I used on a daily basis. In turn I am attending my very first baby shower for a friend this coming Saturday.

I decided to do the same for her, however, I made it a little more creative. I made her a diaper cake, with all sorts of basics. Bottles, Pacis, onsies, and of course I had to throw in a toy for the baby!

I know she'll love it, this is her second child, and while I'm sure she'll get lots of great gifts. THe basics are always great to get since she'll have to buy them on a regular basis, now she won't have to buy the first batch!
