Make Chocolate Party Favor - Molding, Melting and Stiring

Use Guy-like Candy Molds. Instead of the typical bottle or botties, you can find more masculine type plastic molds for chocolate baby shower favor in craft shops and online store.

The ideas are endless, such as a certain sports team, dogs, vehicles or even the letters that make up your name shaped candy molds from Sugar Craft.

Next, Melt the Chocolate.

Melts two pounds of chocolate with a double boiler at a time. Remember to place water in the lower pan and bring it up to temperature. And make sure no water mixes with the chocolate or this batch will be ruined.

If you are working with more than one color of chocolate or are marbleizing with two tones, consider using the microwave. Place half a pound of chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and cook on high about one minute.

Stir the chocolate until completely melted.

Now, add your preferred oil-based flavoring. Don't overdo it, 20-25 drops of flavouring per pound of chocolate works nicely.

Shopping Guide for
Baby Shower Favors

Baby shower party favors can be edible, useful or sentimental, just be creative as much as you can.

Personalized Baby Candle Favor

If you're good at crafting, you'll find creative ideas such as personalized candle tins, chocolate bars, designer cookies, or mint tins. You may also want to use custom labels, personalized ribbon, or personalized gift tags, to spice up favors that are not already personalized.

Edible sweets are kids' favorite favors.

Custom Fortune Cookie

Many edible favors are personalized already, such as custom fortune cookies, custom coffee favors, and heart cookies. They are especially great if the baby shower is a co-ed event and if kids are invited as these sweets will satisfy your guest's sweet tooth and serve as a unique baby shower gift.

If the baby shower is an all-girls party, think of cute, yet practical favors.

Diaper Stacker

The mom-to-be will love unique party favors that look nice and can be use repeatedly, such as lip butter and hand butter. If you have enough budget, these adorable diaper stacker sachets and monogram cosmetic bags are fabulous baby shower gifts.

Give miniature favors to welcome the new little one. Your baby shower can also focus on a miniature, or baby-sized, theme. Our hand decorated baby bubblegum buddies are wonderfully popular.

galvanized pail

If the baby shower is in the spring or is garden themed, consider filling miniature pails with goodies. Otherwise, our keepsake boxes, such as the airplane keepsake box, ducky keepsake box, or silver heart keepsake box, are perfect as miniature favors.

Favor Gift Wrapping

Here are some tips in wrapping your favor gifts.

Baby Carriage Box

Use beautiful packaging to wrap or present your favors. Remember whether simple or exquisite, your favor's first impressions do last and putting it in elegant packaging will make all the difference. For example, these vintage baby carriage favor boxes are perfect for baby showers, but using any type of pretty boxes, bags or ribbons are just as good.

Baby shower favors should also reflect the mom-to-be or parents-to-be's personalities.

petite lookers gfit bag

If the mom-to-be likes to shop, our petite lookers gift bags are perfect. Mini flower vases or flower topped boxes are great for mom-to-be's that love flowers and nature.
