Full Cake
This 3 tier cake was made to match the party decor. All tiers were covered with my homemade marshmallow fondant. The bottom tier was done with a flower cutter, and it's hard to see but I used the quilting wheel to "stitch" the stems of the flowers also.
The leaves on some flowers have teeny tiny hand painted polka dots, that match the leaves in the napkin. A fondant rope border went around this tier, and I used the stitching wheel to make a zig zag stitch on it. The middle tier was then quilted using a diamond cutter and a quilting wheel. I "tufted" it using a fondant stick like tool. It was finished with tiny yellow sugar pearls. A pale pink fondant border went around it, and got it's ruffle look using a crimper.
The top tier was covered in a pale pink, and covered in little yellow polka dots. Pooh, piglet, tigger and eeyore were hand made using gum paste. They were made to look like the baby versions of themselves =) The little bee on the top tier is hand painted using a paint brush and gel color. A rope border finished the top tier.
The whole cake was then placed on an adorable pink polka dot covered board and taken to be enjoyed at the baby shower =)
