Duck Goose Baby Shower
My aunt and assorted family members planned a baby shower for me 1 1/2 years ago for my first baby.
My due date was November 17th 2007. So she planned the baby shower on October 27th, thinking there would be plenty of time before I "popped."
Well it didn't turn out that way.
I went into labor on October 25th, and had my beautiful daughter that night. I had to stay in the hospital over the weekend (I had her on a Thursday) and the baby shower was on a Saturday. So, everyone showed up to the shower and passed around the phone for me to talk to everyone...then they brought EVERYTHING to me!
Even the good food! YAY!
I didn't have to eat hospital food! It was so nice for them to pack up everything and let me open it at the hospital. I think the staff thought my family was a little nutty (which we are) but we had a good time!
Hopefully I will be able to make it to my second baby shower!
