Floating Stork

For my sister-in-laws baby shower, I found a cute picture of a stork wearing a vest and a hat as he carried the baby in a blanket.

I traced this picture onto those soft spongy sheets in white. I then traced the vest and hat along with the baby & blanket with colored fabric glue. I cut out the stork after all was dry pasted a popcycle stick to the back and then stuck it to a foam bowl(two bowls stacked and glue together with opposite ends to give it some height) that had been covered with tissue paper pieces.

It looked like the stork was flying through the clouds I was soo proud!You could also alternate the tissue paper with cotton balls to give it the fluffy cloud effect.
