Rubber Ducky Gel Candle

Rubber Ducky Gel Candle

I wanted to make baby shower candle favors for all my guest and this was my first time making candles. I just used candle gel from a craft store, gel candle dye, wax embedds, and I bought the glass jars from Walmart for $.52 each. It was so simple.

I did learn though, you can't put wax embedded in the gel.(They melt) You have to wait for the gel to get hard a little bit then place the wax embedded on top. You can't wait to long or they won't stay on top. Timing is everything. It really was easy once I figured it out. It also help to have two people. More hands are easier.
