Hat’s Off to the Mom-to-Be

I m hosting a baby shower for my sister early next month. She knows she having a shower but its a surprise when. She made me promise not to do the paper plate hat with all the ribbon you traditionally do at a baby shower and have her wear it on her head. Is there any other cute alternative you know or could think of??? Please help...

In part it depends on whether there is a theme for the shower. Themes help when coming up with ideas like that, and if there is theme, I’d go with something connected to that. A tiara is always fun – pink for a baby girl, blue for a baby boy – and maybe a furry boa too. Another generic idea includes a hat with pacifiers, small bottles, rattles, and other baby items attached. She can keep them after the shower. (I’m seeing a cowboy hat.) This will still probably mortify her, but it’s definitely something different. Use your imagination and search our website for ideas.
