Ice Cream Parfaits – an Excellent Gift for the Mom to Be

I loved Gail Hume’s idea for an “icecream” diaper cake. It looks pretty self-explanatory as to how to do it, but I couldn’t find any tips or directions for it. Can you help? It looks like a onesie or t-shirt was “stuffed” into an ice cream sundae glass and cotton balls on the top were used for the whipped cream with a pacifier as the cherry. Did I miss anything? Or any other suggestions for it?
Answer:You are right. Other baby items which can be sued for stuffing in the dish are wash cloths, hats, socks, burp cloths, bibs, or any small cloth item a baby might need. Cotton balls are the cream and pacifiers the cherry. Rattles or bows can also act as the cherry. If you want a larger version a large plastic pot can be made to look like a sundae dish and several cloth items can be put in as the ice cream. I have also seen versions of this with a “waffle cone” base made from covering a pot with brown, waffle-y paper or fabric.
