FOR MY DAUGHTERS BABY SHOWER I TOOK A LAUNDRY BASKET, I MADE MY OWN CLOTHES LINE, AND ALL THE CLOTHING I BOUGHT FOR THE BABY I PUT ON THE LINE WITH CLOTHES PINS, THEN I GENTLY PLACED THEM IN THE BASKET, SO WHEN SHE OPENED THE GIFT ONE OF HER GIRLFRIENDS GRABBED THE LOOP I LEFT AT THE END, AND STARTED TO WALK WITH IT AND SLOWLY PULLED ALL THE LINE OUT OF BASKET AND WALKED THE LENGTH OF THE HALL, SO ALL COULD SEE ALL THE CLOTHES I BOUGHT FOR MY FIRST GRANDSON, THIS WAS THE HIT OF THE SHOWER, I HAD SO MANY WOMEN WANTED TO KNOW IF THEY COULD USE THAT IDEA, IT WAS A GREAT COMPLIMENT. WE DECORATED EVERYTHING IN BLUE AND WHITE, THE RESTURANT LOOKED BEAUTIFUL, MY DAUGHTER WAS SHOCKED WHEN SHE SAW 60 PEOPLE SITTING THERE, WITH ALL THESE GIFTS FOR HER, IT WAS A GREAT DAY.

Basket Shower

I did this same thing back in Feb.2008, the theme of the shower was baby basket shower, so I found a basket on wheels, in blue that was actually made of heavy plastic, which then in turn doubled as a toy storage basket after the shower. The mother loved it, Shawn will be 3 in May and keeps all his stuffed animals in it a pulls them around....

JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW STOLE YOUR IDEA WITH THE BASKET AND CLOTHES LINE FOR DAUGHTER IN LAW'S SHOWER, IT WAS A BIG HIT, THANKS EVERYONE WAS IS AWE OF ALL THE CLOTHES, NOW OTHERS WANT TO KNOW IF THEY CAN USE IT, VERY CLEVER IDEA NO BOXES,WRAPPING PAPER JUST A PLASTIC BAG AND THE HAMPER AND CLOTHES LINE AND SOME PINS. BRAVO TO YOU KATHY LOVE IT LOVE IT. CONGRATS GRANNY

kathy, great idea with the clothes line, loved loved the job you did on shower, m & m's where just the topping on the whole affair, they were very sweet, and the books for the baby another good idea that baby will be reading forever,nice job kathy.

I WAS THERE FOR THIS SHOWER AND IT WAS GREAT, KATHY REALLY OUT DID HERSELF, SHE HAD HER SISTER-IN LAW MADE A DIAPER CAKE IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, BIG AND FILLED WITH BABY CLOTHES AND DIAPERS, I HAD NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE, JUST AMAZING, WHEN NIKKI OPENED HER GIFT FROM HER MOM AND THEY PULLED OUT ALL THESE CLOTHES ON THE LINE, EVERYONE WAS JUST SHOCKED AT HOW LONG IT WAS WITH ALL THE CLOTHES FROM UNDERSHIRTS, BOOTIES, CLOTH DIAPERS, BIBS SHE HAD BEEN BUYING FOR MONTHS TO GIVE HER DAUGHTER A WONDERFUL SHOWER, THE DECORATIONS, THE PERSONAL M & M'S WITH BABY BOY CRAVEN WHERE ADORABLE, AND THE BOOK IDEA WAS GREAT, THIS BABY HAD ENOUGH BOOK TO LAST A VERY LONG TIME. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AND ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY. GOOD JOB!! KATHY

It was a great baby shower...and Nikki you looked wonderful as an Mom-to-be... You received so many wonderful gifts for the Baby... and yes the clothes line gift is a great idea and was very well executed... Way to go Kathy and Andy...

I WENT TO THIS BABY SHOWER AND NOT ONLY DID SHE HAVE A GREAT IDEA WITH THE BASKET, SHE ALSO HAD THE WHOLE ROOM DONE IN WHITE AND BLUE WITH A 175 BALLOONS IN THE ROOM AND HAD M & M'S IN BLUE MADE WITH BABY BOY CRAVEN ON THEM IN WHITE TULLE WITH BLUE RIBBON AND A BABY PIN. SHE HAD EVERYONE BRING A BOOK FOR THE BABY FOR HIS BOOKSHELF SOMEONE MADE. IT WAS A VERY THOUGHT OUT BABY SHOWER AND PLANNED WELL.WONDERFUL JOB !! KATHY
