Picnic Baby Shower Invitation

My baby shower invitation is unlike any other you will probably ever hear of. I love to throw parties and be creative so here is what the plan is.

I wrote a poem that describes everything the guests need to know. Then I found a person online that does digital caricatures and sent her a picture of me and my husband. I asked her to make me pregnant. The image above is what I used for the baby shower invitation.

Here is the invitation wording:

It’s a party unlike another,
An invitation, Come one, Come All,
A baby shower for not only the mother
A picnic in the fall!

So women bring your families
It’s a shower for Mom and Dad
To celebrate a new life
We’re starting a new fad.

The style is quite unique
Not the usual attire
One should come dressed pregnant
If it is the grand prize that you desire.

There will also be a raffle
For everyone to enjoy
It gives away great prizes
To winning girls and boys.

The raffle rules will contrast
With what one might have thought…
One entry item for one ticket
Will give you a good shot

A pack of Diapers or wipes
Each item gets a ticket
Choose the basket you desire
Your Name! Let’s hope we pick it!

We look forward to seeing you there
A traditional shower we could not bear
It’s one of our big parties
You know that they are great
So please RSVP
And do not hesitate!
