Teddy Bears Baby Shower

My husbands Cousins Wife (AKA my really awesome friend Melody) and her Husband Josh are expecting their first child in June and everyone is really excited! They decided not to find out the sex of the baby, so they are doing a teddy bears baby shower with green colored theme nursery. YAY!

So this weekend I threw them a baby shower. All teddy bears!!

We had awesome personal water bottle labels I made for Melody's Shower, green sorbet punch, chocolate cupcakes with mint green icing, and green cupcakes with chocolate icing. We had chicken salad sandwiches shaped like teddy bears, along side Pb and j squares. A fruit mix was served in a watermelon cut into the shape of a baby carriage. And we had tiny chocolate teddy bear candies, and teddy bear sugar cookies that were iced with Blue, White and Pink Icing.

Along with some awesome chocolate cake pops with green and white mint icing swirls, I made a chocolate fruit bouquet using the showers green and brown colors. I dipped Strawberries in milk chocolate and apples white chocolate and drizzled them with green icing. I also crushed Andes Mints and rolled a few strawberries around in them. They were placed in a green bucket with a brown ribbon.

A diaper cake adored the gift table and green and brown steamers hung from the ceiling. For the favors I baked Cinnamon Buns and after the were iced and cooled I packaged them in little cellophane bags and tied them with green curly ribbon and little plastic pacifiers.

I found the poem online and matched with a cute picture I found online to make the cute Label!!!

Here is the poem:

A bun in the oven,
Such a great joy,
Will it be a girl?
Or Will it be a boy?

Only Time will tell,
Whether we'll need
Pink or Blue
We know we'll be ready
Thanks to you!

I can't agree more with Angela that Teddy Bear is a perfect theme for gender neutral baby shower. And kids love the theme even it's a Shower! Here are more ideas for Teddy Bear theme:
